La familia de Sharon Asman, un alto comandante de las FDI que se desplomó y murió ayer durante un ejercicio de combate en el campo de Beit Lid, cerca de Netanya, anunció que sus órganos serán donados.

Asman era un donante de órganos registrado, portador de una tarjeta Adi. Sus córneas se trasplantarán a pacientes que las necesiten.

También, el primer ministro Naftali Bennett envió sus condolencias a la familia, diciendo que “Asman fue uno de los mejores” que “contribuyó con sus mejores años a mantener la seguridad de Israel. Su prematura muerte es un acontecimiento desafortunado y doloroso”.
En una ceremonia para oficiales de combate recién graduados, el Jefe de Estado Aviv Kochavi calificó a Asman como “un luchador que sobresalió en todas sus funciones” y dijo que las FDI “necesitan oficiales destacados” como él.
“Sharon era un luchador que sobresalía en todas sus funciones, misiones, amaba a la gente… ¡era un oficial y un caballero!
