Ante las críticas de algunos científicos y funcionarios, las empresas no compartieron los datos que mostraban ese riesgo, pero dijeron que pronto se harían públicos. También citaron datos recientes de Israel.
“Estamos examinando esta cuestión y todavía no tenemos una respuesta definitiva”, dijo Horowitz, en declaraciones a la radio pública Kan, sobre un refuerzo para la población general en Israel.

Israel no va a apresurarse a tomar ninguna decisión sobre las vacunas de refuerzo para el público en general. Eso dijo Sharon Alroy-Preis, jefa de salud pública del Ministerio de Sanidad.
“Es bastante complejo. Actualmente estamos viendo brotes en gran medida entre los niños y sus padres que no fueron necesariamente vacunados en enero y febrero. Tenemos que identificar los sesgos (estadísticos)”, dijo Alroy-Preis a Kan.
