«Tengo algunos problemas ideológicos con la idea de una DAIA en general», aseguró un rabino argentino en redes sociales. Esta publicación ahonda aún más en la fuerte polémica que se generó dentro de la comunidad judía. La misma surgió tras los comunicados de AMIA y DAIA por la muerte del ex presidente de la República Argentina, Carlos Menem.
A raíz de lo sucedido en las últimas horas, el rabino de Judaica Norte, Uriel Romano, escribió en Twitter: «Tengo algunos problemas ideológicos con la idea de una DAIA en general. En primer lugar no representa a judíos sino a comunidades judías afiliadas. Ahí hay un abismo. Hay decenas de miles de judíos que no transitan por instituciones judías».
«En segundo lugar pensar que puede haber una institución que pueda representar la pluralidad de las opiniones de los judíos argentinos me resulta imposible. Y más en temas políticos y organizativos», agregó.
«En tercer lugar creo que en una sociedad democrática cada judío (como individuo y como minoría) debería poder representarse por sí mismo frente al Estado«, expresó.
Romano dijo que la DAIA no representa a judíos sino a comunidades judías afiliadas.
Dentro del intercambio, en el que varios usuarios respondieron a sus tweets, se destacaron los comentarios del rabino Eli Levy, quien aseguró: «El supuesto es que haya una cohesión de criterios frente a la opinión pública y los estamentos públicos. Y no que vaya cada shil y shtibl a decir lo que sea. En la práctica me identifico poco y nada con las declaraciones que hacen».
Un usuario respondió «¿Y la AMIA?», a lo que el rabino Diego Elman expresó: «La AMIA es una mutual, como el Centro Gallego o la Unione e Benevolenza, pero que además tiene una cochería y administra cementerios». Y Romano sumó que «con AMIA si sólo fuera una mutual para ayuda mutua y organización de cementerios/hospitales/escuelas para sus miembros me parecería perfecto.
