Israel reimpone restricciones y el uso de la “tarjeta verde” para acceder a actos en espacios cerrados

El Gobierno de Israel reimpuso este miércoles nuevas restricciones ante el aumento de los casos de coronavirus, que han llegado a cifras máximas desde marzo, incluida la introducción del sistema de “Tarjeta Verde” para el acceso a actos en espacios cerrados.

Este sistema, que ya estuvo en pie a principios de año, contempla la limitación del acceso a estos lugares a personas que se hayan vacunado o se hayan recuperado de la COVID-19, a menos que presenten un resultado negativo de una PCR realizada como mucho 72 horas antes.

Asimismo, estos espacios tendrán que contar con una persona dedicada a supervisar que se cumplen las restricciones, mientras que el Gobierno ha anunciado una batería de multas en caso de incumplimientos por violar las normas o no usar mascarilla, según ha informado el diario The Times of Israel.

El director general del Ministerio de Sanidad israelí, Najman Ash, expresó este miércoles su apoyo a las restricciones, incluida la Tarjeta Verde, y advirtió que éstas podrían ser insuficientes para hacer frente a la propagación de la variante delta.

Asimismo, detalló que en estos momentos hay 8.993 casos activos en el país (casi mil más que el día anterior), entre ellos 63 pacientes en estado crítico, y ha agregado que la tasa de positividad se sitúa en el 1,76 por ciento.

Por otra parte, ha señalado que 5.749.420 personas han recibido hasta ahora al menos una dosis de la vacuna contra el coronavirus, entre ellas 5.257.265 que cuentan ya con la pauta completa tras recibir la segunda inoculación.
